Relationships face challenges, and therapy can provide the tools to navigate them successfully. I help couples overcome conflict, heal from past hurts, and develop stronger communication skills, leading to a deeper and more resilient emotional connection.
The teenage years can be turbulent. I offer engaging, strengths-based support for teens struggling with depression, peer pressure, and difficult life choices. My approach fosters ownership and accountability, helping them map a positive course for their future.
EMDR and ART at both technologies that help treat trauma in the nerveoius system that cannot be healing through talk therapy alone. Both aim to help people process traumatic memories and reduce emotional distress. These are evidence-based and proven in research as best practice for trauma healing by using eye movements through bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess trauma and loosen its emotional grip and create lasting healing.
My goal is to make the process from your first question to your ongoing sessions as clear, comfortable, and supportive as possible.
The success of therapy hinges on a strong client-therapist relationship. Your comfort is my priority. In our first session, we’ll discuss your needs and goals. If I’m not the right fit, I am happy to connect you with another trusted local therapist. Your progress is a collaborative effort, and I often provide resources to support your work between sessions.
I offer in-person counseling to clients across Southern Utah, including St. George, Washington, Hurricane, Santa Clara, and Cedar City. For those located elsewhere in Utah, I provide secure and convenient online teletherapy sessions via Zoom.
I also treat people in Idaho and Nevada by telehealth.
To ensure a consistent and effective therapeutic process, sessions are structured as follows. Your progress is directly related to your efforts, and I often provide resources to support your work between our meetings.
Standard sessions are 50 minutes. Extended two-hour sessions are also available upon request.
I see clients Monday through Friday, with the first appointment at 7:00 AM and the last starting at 5:00 PM.
